Allez is a small city companion for people who live somewhere and still want to be surprised by it.
What it is for
Free time is short, and most of it goes on deciding. Allez answers one question each time you open it: what is worth leaving home for, today, near where you are? It is not a listings site. Every suggestion comes with a reason, a sentence somebody wrote about why it is worth your time.
How we choose
The reason is the product, and reasons do not scale, so we write them by hand. Some places we have been to ourselves; where we have, the photograph is usually our own. Others we have researched but not yet visited, and the card says so. Opening times, the weather and the date shape what you see, so the same city reads differently on a wet Tuesday and a bright Saturday.
Where it works
Paris, Delhi, Bengaluru, the Bay Area and New York. Some cities have more of our own writing than others; we would rather a city be thin and honest than full and generic.

The pigeon in the cap is Coo. Coo helps when you cannot choose, but never vouches for a place. That part is our job.
